The Garden of Morning Calm is a large arboretum that features different flowers, plants, and trees. It is the oldest private garden in Korea. Moreover, the name Garden of Morning Calm reminds us that Korea is often known as the “land of morning calm”. Also, it was founded by Professor Han Sang Kyung, who had the vision to create a beautiful, world-class garden that embraces the beauty of Korea as, the “Land of Morning Calm”.
By Bus: You can take a bus bound to Cheongpyeong Bus Terminal from Sangbong Bus Terminal or Dong Seoul Bus Terminal. Or, take bus No. 1330 at Cheongnyangni Transfer Center (in front of Lotte Department Store), and get off at the Cheongpyeong Bus Terminal. Then, from Cheonpyeong Terminal, take a bus bound to The Garden of Morning Calm.
By Subway: You can take a subway to Cheongpyeong Station (Gyeonchun Line), and exit via Exit 1. Next, go left until you reach the 3-way intersection and turn right. Then, walk toward the Cheongpyeong Catholic Church. When you pass by Cheongpyeong Elementary School, turn left, and you will see the Cheonpyeong Bus Terminal. And then, from the terminal, take a bus bound to The Garden of Morning Calm.
