Leeum is a museum where Korean art and international art coexist in harmony. After years of planning, the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, opened as an international art and cultural center for the display of both Korean and international art.
The museum’s architecture is a blend of three distinct styles by three globally renowned architects, created to provide visitors with a fulfilling artistic experience. There are two museums in the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art: Museum 1 and Museum 2. Museum 1 houses traditional Korean art, while Museum 2 features contemporary works by Korean and foreign artists.
Please note that they are currently remodeling but planning to reopen in 2021, so make sure to check before visiting.
