Jeonju hanok village is one of the biggest traditional house villages in Korea and one of the most popular ones as well. Moreover, the village was built in the Japanese colonial period in the 1930s by Koreans who sought protection. and right now it has around 700 hanoks ( traditional houses) including shops, galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, guesthouses, and more.
In this traditional village, you can experience the Hanok house stay, and sleeping on the floor which may seem inconvenient for some but it sure is worth the try!
since the village has this historical impression with the traditional houses and the spread of traditional clothing experience (Hanbok). Just walking in the small allies of the village between the stone walls and wooden buildings gives a magical feeling of traveling back in time.
