Cafe Minwoljae is a Hanok cafe in Daegu. Its signature menu items are black sesame coffee, milk (black) tea, and the seasonal pomegranate ade plucked from a tree in the cafe’s courtyard. Plus, they also sell yummy lotus cookies.
The owner of the cafe, Jin, studied English in the Philippines where he worked in the stressful casino industry. After returning home to Korea, he restored his grandmother’s home and turned it into a beautiful cafe. They now live a peaceful life, spending their days operating the cafe and coming up with delicious new menu items.
